Manuela Pauer - California based Success Life Coach

Career Happiness Coach Manuela

My name is Manuela Pauer and I am a Career Happiness Coach.  I am passionate about working with smart and creative women who feel stuck or unhappy in their career. My specialty is empowering women to connect to their mission and purpose and clearly define what they want so they can create a career they love.

Making changes has been part of my life.  It started with leaving Germany to move to the US during high school. Being half Japanese and half Austrian, I had been aware of different cultures early on in my life, but moving to another country was a whole new experience. The second major change came almost 20 years later, when I chose to leave behind my previous career path that I had worked so hard for, without knowing what I would be doing next, in order to live a more purposeful and fulfilling life. I worked in the corporate world at the time and had a sense for a while that what I was doing didn’t really fulfill me. However, I was too busy with work to figure out what I wanted to do instead.

I finally quit and embarked on a journey to learn more about myself and find a vocation I love. My life is so different now from the way it was before. I am finally doing all the things I have always wanted to do that I didn’t have time for in the past. I have learned and grown so much in this process and I can really say that I have changed my life so it has more meaning, is more enjoyable, and continues to be an adventure.  My boyfriend and I adopted a puppy in 2011, and you can see pictures of my doggie Rafa in many of my blog posts.  ♥

Happiness Expert Rafa

Working in the corporate world gave me over 12 years experience in bringing teams together and helping people to be more successful. My work experience spans Strategy Consulting in Bain & Company’s San Francisco office, Product Management and Strategic Development at a successful start-up company in Silicon Valley as well as at AOL on the East and West coast, where I last held the position of Executive Director. I still enjoy working with groups as well as individuals and help them develop practical strategies that they can put to use immediately.

As for my education, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley. (Go Bears!) My Coaching training was completed at the Coaches Training Institute, where I received the designation of Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) in 2009. I am also a graduate of their Leadership program and the Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching program at the Center for Right Relationships.
